About Us

The Cedar Hill Museum of History was organized in 2006 by members of the Cedar Hill Historical Society, founded in 1978. The Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by an Executive Board and a thirteen-member Board of Trustees comprised of community leaders.

The mission of the Cedar Hill Museum is to encourage community learning through preservation of our cultural and natural heritage in Cedar Hill.

We envision a museum that inspires through engaging and inclusive historical experiences.
