About Us

The Cedar Hill Museum of History was organized in 2006 by members of the Cedar Hill Historical Society, founded in 1978. The Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by an Executive Board and a thirteen-member Board of Trustees comprised of community leaders.

The mission of the Cedar Hill Museum is to collect, preserve and share the natural and cultural heritage of Cedar Hill by providing memorable and educational experiences consistent with our hometown spirit.

We envision a museum that has a positive impact on our community, embraces our distinctive character, and enlightens through meaningful and engaging programs.
